The nature lovers can, starting from our farm, take a walk along the river Tanaro up to the scenic badlands, rocks eroded by wind and water (“calanchi”). Following a spiral-shaped path, undemanding and feasible for everyone, you can take a stroll in the woods and admire its fauna and flora. For those of you who are fond of bird watching, it will be easy to spot herons, cormorants, ducks, hawks or the rare kestrel.

The surrounding areas offer a wide variety of wildlife oases and mountain refuges.

For the more demanding cultural tourist, we suggest to visit the Ancient Church of San Fiorenzo on only 2km distance of the agriturismo. This Church is also the starting point for more challenging excursions. The Sentiero della Libertà (“Path of Freedom”) brings you up to Sacrario Partigiano di San Bernardo where you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the Langhe and the Maritime Alps.

In Mondovì, only a few steps away from our agriturismo, you can visit the two districts of Breo and Piazza. On board of the funicular that connects these two historical centers, you can admire the view along the hillside. The funicular, active since 1886, has been redesigned and reactivated in order to permit a faster and fascinating visit of the two town districts.

The “capital of the balloon” will offer you one of the most fascinating experiences of all time: a balloon flight !

The nearby Mondovì is a town that, with its historical centers and uncountable museums, is an absolute must-visit. Some of the places to see are the Museum of the Press, the Time Park and the Ceramic Museum.

At less than 30km, you’ll be able to visit historical cities such as Cuneo, the provincial capital, Saluzzo, the city of music, and Savigliano, with its numerous architectural beauties.
